John O'Donoghue
Background:
A lecturer in Business Information Systems (BIS) at University College Cork (UCC), Ireland and teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses. My research interests revolve around pervasive data management within healthcare environments.
Before joining BIS at UCC, I was an software engineer at Logica (Cork, Ireland), Logica Aldiscon (IFSC Dublin) and Banca di Credito Cooperativo (Milano, Italy).
I received a B.Sc in Computer Applications from the Cork Institute of Technology (CIT), a Research M.Sc. in Real-Time Systems and Simulation from CIT and a PhD in Computer Science from University College Cork.
I am a Co-Director of the Health Information Systems Research Centre (HISRC), University College Cork.
