Research Interests
Surface hydrology and land-atmosphere interaction; Climate change - extreme events. Soil
hydrology, soil carbon, and soil engineering properties. Flood event analysis, flood
forecasting and flood warning. Environmental engineering. Measurement and modelling of
greenhouse gas fluxes (CO2, CH4, N2O) from grasslands, peatlands and forestry. Coupling of
water, energy and carbon cycles.
