What is Blackboard?

Blackboard is an academic website used by many lecturers on campus as a communication tool for their courses. They can upload lecture notes, have online discussions, and you can submit assignments through the site also. Blackboard is available at http://blackboard.ucc.ie .

I forgot my PIN Number

The UCC PIN number is used for a number of applications for students such as Email, the new Student Portal (UCC Direct), and for Blackboard.

If you are a newly registered student, and you have yet to get your PIN number, it will be posted to your registered address.

If you were in UCC last year, your PIN number remains the same.

If you forget your PIN, you should go to the Student Helpdesk in the Boole Basement, who will be able to assist.

Note however, that once a password is changed on UCC Blackboard it does not change for any other system.

I can't Log on
