Functions

The Office of Vice-President for Research Policy and Support was set up in 1998.

The Vice-President for Research Policy and Support is the representative of research activity to the University Management Group of the university and also to the external agencies.

The office is primarily divided according to the two functions under the VP?s remit,

To provide the University with research support through information, assistance, guidance and advice on all aspects of the planning, execution, sustaining and application of research.
