The Department of Applied Social Studies offers two series of public lectures on wide array of issues relevant for practitioners and scholars of the social professions. The public lecture series presents research undertaken in the department. As well, it gives the opportunity to discuss theory and practice issues of social science with internationally renowned colleagues. All lectures are open to the public and are free. The series is generously supported by European Social Organisational and Science Consultancy .
