THE GRANARY THEATRE

All Dramat productions are staged in the Granary theatre. For Dramat members, and DTS students in particular, the venue is revered. We owe a tremendous debt to all those in the Theatre who work tirelessly day in day out catering for all our needs. Kath Geraghty in particular requires a special mention. Without her understanding and guidance most Dramat productions would never get off the ground.

Granary produces and presents new & experimental work by artists across disciplines. The Granary building encompasses a black box theatre, bright studio (suitable for workshops and rehearsals) & a foyer which may be utilised for visual art exhibitions & installations.

The seating arrangment and floorplan of the theatre are available below and we would advise any new director, writer or producer to take a look at The Granary's unique layout before conceptualising their own production. A knowledge of the theatre in this respect is invaluable and can greatly benefit the production.
