The 2010 UCC Alumni and Friends Reunion of the Boston Chapter was held on Friday 22 October, 2010 at the Boston College Club.

The Great Book of Ireland was exhibited for the first time in Chicago on October 20th, 2010 at the Union League Club of Chicago

At a reception kindly sponsored by UCC alumnus, Mr Devon Bruce and his wife, Mrs Yvonne Bruce, Mr Theo Dorgan, Poet, Writer and Editor of the Great Book of Ireland shared his unique perspective on the cultural significance of this magnificent manuscript.

Grit Glass has been awarded the 2010 Staf Gebruers Memorial Award in recognition of her excellence in Music at UCC.  She is now pursuing an MA in Ethnomusicology at University College Cork.

The 1985 BComm Class held their Silver Jubilee Reunion in UCC on the 16th October.  Over 100 graduates and friends attended with classmates travelling from across the US, Australia, Bermuda, England and Belgium as well as from all four corners of Ireland to mark this special occasion.
