1) Eight font files (TTFs) for use with Windows (version 3.0 or later) to provide Gaelic Fonts for display and printing. These can be installed using the Windows Control Panel (Fonts):
GAELA.TTF
GAELAW.TTF
GAELAX.TTF
GAELAXW.TTF
GAELB.TTF
GAELBW.TTF
GAELBX.TTF
GAELBXW.TTF
2) Program file GAELTRAN.EXE which can convert Irish text written in Roman letters to use dotted Gaelic letters instead of ch, dh etc.
3) File GAFONTS.WPS which explains how to use these fonts. This is a Works for Windows Word processor file. The fonts should be installed before viewing or printing it.
4) WORD file BANCNOIC.DOC which illustrates how the appearance of these fonts can be improved by using kerning in Microsoft Word.
5) A suite of program files (TTGL/TTASM and related programs) which can be used to create and/or edit TrueType font files. Their use is explained in Works-for-Windows file TTGL.WPS. They run under MSDOS (not Windows):
TTASM.EXE
TTBIT.EXE
TTVIEWL.EXE
Additional programs TTGLX and TTVIEWX, not mentioned in TTGL.WPS are the same as TTGL and TTVIEW except that screen dumps are sent in a format suitable for laser printers with shading instead of pixels; also TTGL.HLP.
