Biography

Following a short period in industry Mr. O'Brien joined the Department of Finance in February 1976.  He took up the position of Assistant Registrar at UCC in May 1985.  He subsequently served as Academic Secretary before he was appointed Vice-President for the Student Experience in January 2008.  Mr. O’Brien is a member of the European Association for Institutional Research (EAIR) and the Association of University Administrators (AUA).
