A Major International Competition

What is trampolining and how is it a real sport?

Trampolining is basically a gymnastics discipline but instead of doing a routine on the floor you do it on a trampoline. In a competition you will do 10 moves made up of shape jumps, twists and somersaults (a roly-poly). Depending on your level you could do any routine from a novice routine to elite to an olympic standard world A Elite.

Here at the UCC Trampoline Club we go on four big competitions a year. We have worked with people of all abilities from recreational to southern regional squad to national squad. We train on 4 trampolines in the Mardyke and anyone is welcome to come along and join us training. So whether you want to one day compete for Ireland in the Olympics or just bounce really high (way way higher than garden trampolines) come over and check us out. We also have a really cool air track that's great fun to mess around or tumble on.

Check out the videos of us competing!!

A large part of being in the club is the huge social side to it. Apart from one or two pints after training we host a lot of events such as Freshers' Night Out, Mystery Tours, 12 Pubs of Christmas, Trampolining Houseparties and any other excuse we can think of to have fun with our favourite tramps. Be part of something unforgettable during college- be part of the UCC Trampoline Club.
