Diploma in Common Law (European)

International Education Office: Diploma in Common Law (European)
Duration: 1 Academic Year

What is the Diploma in Common Law (European)?

The Diploma in Common Law (European) is a one-year, full-time course open to students, including those wishing to pursue the Junior Year Abroad at the Faculty of Law UCC, who would like an introduction to law and to the Irish legal system within the European legal context. During the year, Diploma students experience the wide variety of legal subjects on offer at UCC's dynamic Faculty of Law, and gain a taste of what the study and practice of law has to offer. The course would be of particular interest to those considering applying to Law School in the US or hoping to practise law elsewhere.
