What is the Autumn Semester Programme?

The Autumn Semester at University College Cork commences on Monday, 24th September 2012 and will end on Friday, 21st December 2012.

Visiting students enrolled for the Autumn Semester have the opportunity to select modules from across a range of academic departments and faculties. The College of Arts, Celtic Studies and Social Sciences, in particular, offers a number of semesterised modules in subjects such as Archaeology, Celtic Civilisation, English, Folklore, Greek, Greek and Roman, History, Latin, Music, Philosophy and Spoken Irish.

What will I be Studying?

A student studying at University College Cork for the Autumn Semester will normally take modules to the value of 30 UCC credits. The Faculty of Science (College of Science, Engineering and Food Science) also offers a range of semesterised modules in subjects such as Biochemistry, Geology, Microbiology, Zoology and Ecology.

Students enrolled at UCC for the Autumn Semester will be examined by departmental examination and written assessments.

Entry Requirements

Visiting Non-EU Students: The minimum G.P.A. requirement for admission to the Autumn Semester Programme in Ireland is normally 3.0 out of 4.0

Erasmus/Visiting EU Students: Students must be nominated by home university to study at University College Cork.
