In order to enrol as a UCC student you should have the following documentation with you on arrival at the university:

Welcome Programme 2011
A Welcome Programme for all new International Students will take place from the 5th - 18th September 2011. The Welcome Programme will give you the opportunity to meet other new International students along with Irish students in a social environment. Orientation
In order to introduce you to life at University College, Cork and to help you to settle in, the University runs a series of orientation programmes designed to tell you about life on campus. In addition, incoming visiting students have the opportunity to attend an informal reception, where you can meet other students and academic and administrative staff responsible for your welfare while here.
Autumn Semester/Full Academic Year 2012/2013 Orientation:
Wednesday 19th, Thursday 20th and Friday 21st September 2012
Orientation Programme will be available online in early September 2012.
Spring Semester 2013 Orientation:
Friday 4th January 2013
Information for Visiting Students for 2012/2013
All questions relating to course selection, timetables, registration etc. will be dealt with at Orientation. Information on modules (courses) available to visiting students can be accessed at Book of Modules for Visiting Students
Please ensure that on arrival at the airport of entry into Ireland you have your admission letter on your person. Visiting students from the United States, Canada, Australia and other Non-EU countries will be required to present this letter to the Immigration authorities at the airport.

Temporary Accommodation
Temporary accommodation is available in a number of youth hostels around the city.
The hostel closest to the UCC campus is An Óige (Irish Youth Hostel Association) 1 Redclyffe, Western Road, Cork. It is located no more than 100 metres from the International Education Office.
