Visiting EU Students: Pre-departure Checklist

Before you arrive

Before you leave home, don’t forget to bring with you:

1. Your Passport or National Identity Card
2. European Health Insurance Card    
3. Confirmation of your acceptance at University College Cork

After you arrive

We recommend:

1. You go directly to your accommodation. Bear in mind that there are no postal codes, so a typical postal address might look like “Apartment 1C, Farranlea Hall, Victoria Cross, Cork.” This should be more than enough information for a taxi driver to find your new home.
2. Ensure you register as a student by the relevant deadline
3. You complete and submit your module registration form to the International Education Office by the deadline
4. You inform the International Education Office of your contact details in Cork
