Postgraduate Non-EU Student: UCC Language Centre
The University Language Centre at UCC offers intensive and part-time courses in English during the academic year. The part-time courses are free to all full-time UCC students (except the IELTS Preparation Course). The Centre also runs a Summer School from July to mid-September. Students can prepare for and take IELTS and Cambridge examinations in the centre. Teacher training courses such as CELTA and DELTA are also provided.

The Language Centre offers a Self-Access Language Laboratory fully-equipped with books, cds, videos and internet resources where students can study independently, or with the assistance or guidance from a teacher. Students find this facility to be of great help as they prepare for examinations, or just for studying English.
