Nanyang Technological University is a research intensive university with globally acknowledged strengths in science and technology. The university is ranked among the world’s best technology universities by the Times Higher Education Supplement, while its Nanyang Business School is the leading business school in Singapore and has consistently been ranked among the top business schools in Asia. Through its four colleges and two autonomous entities, the National Institute of Education and S Rajaratnam School of International Studies, NTU provides a high-quality global education to more than 20,000 undergraduates and 8,700 graduate students.
The Yunnan Garden Campus, NTU’s main campus, is located in the south-western part of Singapore.
Applications are invited from UCC students at undergraduate or postgraduate level to spend the 2012/2013 academic year at Nanyang Technological University The successful student, who will be of honours standard, will receive remission of tuition fees.
National University of Singapore (NUS)
A leading English-speaking, global university centred in Asia, the National University of Singapore (NUS) has a student population of 36,000 students, hailing from 100 countries. International students make up 20 per cent and 50 per cent of the undergraduate and graduate enrolment respectively. Faculty are drawn from Singapore and around the world, with about half coming from overseas. NUS has 16 faculties and schools, including a music conservatory.
The university is considered to be one of the most prestigious universities in Asia. In 2011 NUS was ranked 28th in the world and 3rd in Asia by the QS World University Rankings.
Applications are invited from UCC undergraduate students who are studying Science, Food and Nutritional Sciences or Food Technology to spend the 2012/2013 academic year at the National University of Singapore. The successful student, who will be of honours standard, will receive remission of tuition fees.
