Careers Support Programme Services

The Careers Support Service is a specialist service to assist students with disabilities with all aspects of their career planning. We provide guidance, advice, information and support prior to entering UCC, throughout your studies in the university, including postgraduate study and the transition to employment.

As a student with an illness, disability or specific learning difficulty (SpLD), there may be issues or concerns when making decisions on future career choices. Specialist support is available to you through our service.

Do you need guidance and assistance with accessing information, preparing CV’s, attending interviews, disclosing health matters, complete of application forms and writing personal statements?

The Careers support Officer for students with disabilities is available to meet with students who are registered with the service. In addition to this, we also provide support to prospective students with a disability wishing to pursue their degree programme here in UCC. Students are both welcomed and encouraged to avail of the facilities of this service
