Chen Peiyu had an unusual preparation for her life as a student at UCC: she learned a lot about Irish culture while working part-time for two years at The Blarney Stone Irish pub in her hometown of Shanghai. Now in her second year of a Law degree in UCC, she works on a part-time basis at the International Education Office.
Says Pei Yu: “Studying Law at UCC is a great opportunity. I am learning a lot about Commercial Law and International Law. When I graduate, I hope to work with the WTO where I can use my knowledge of the legal systems in both Europe and China”.
