Following a successful quality review in 2014, the Student Experience Office decided to set up a Projects Office to continue to develop its approach to facilitating a world class student experience.

The quality review process helped to identify a number of thematic and cross service projects which are designed to improve outcomes for students in a number of areas.

Out of eleven areas that have been identified, four have already been set up and have committees working on achieving their goals.

  • Developing Staff Expertise
  • Enhancing Students' Personal & Professional Development
  • Technologically Enhanced Student Experience

Each project group is made up of staff from across student services and from other areas of the university including, Marketing and Communications, IT services and Academic Affairs.
