O2 Broadband Offer - Sign up on campus - 13th to the 16th of September Boole Basement

HEANET (our Internet service provider) has negotiated a discounted Mobile Broadband service offering for all participating third level colleges in Ireland.  As a result of a tendering process, O2 was awarded a contract to provide the service and it is now up and running and available through all their local O2 stores.

The service is available to all staff and students of UCC.  , and include a one-year contract for €9.99 per month or a rolling 30-day contract at €12.99 per month plus the initial cost of a USB modem for €20. Though very useful for laptop users, it may also be suitable for use with a home desktop computer particularly when a fixed telephone line is not available or required.

To avail of this offer you will need to go to an O2 retail store and you will need to bring:

• A valid 2010 UCC student ID card or UCC staff card
• Proof of address – utility bill or letter from UCC
• Bank details or debit/credit card
• Proof of date of birth.

The O2 team will sign up interested staff and students up in the Boole basement Monday 13^th Sept – Thursday 16^th Sept from 10.00-16.00.
