National Women's Waterski Fun Day
Sunday 14th August - 10am - 4pm
Carrig Waterski & Wakeboard Centre
This unique event promises to be an exciting day out! We're offering experienced waterski and wakeboard coaching, free equipment hire (wetsuits, skis, wakeboard, life-vests), and use of club facilities (changing rooms, hot shower). Tea/coffee, pastries and a BBQ will be provided on the day.
Waterskiing is safe, fun, and will put a huge smile on your face! It's open to women of all ages and abilities, and of course the whole family is welcome.

Call for players - UCC United
Formed in 2006, UCC United staff soccer club has both a male and female team. Currently, the men’s team is looking to recruit players for the 2011/2012 season.
UCC Utd play in the First Division of the Cork Business & Shipping League and have just completed a successful season. They train one night a week and play approximately 30 weekend matches in a season which runs from September to May.

Grant Funding for Staff Clubs & Societies
The UCC Staff Sports and Social Club makes funding available to UCC staff clubs and societies which are non-for-profit and have been/are being established for the benefit of staff in the university.
The application process for club funding for 2011-12 has now closed. Successful clubs will be notified in early June.
Orienteering Event
Have you ever tried orienteering? The Irish Orienteering Association run regular orienteering events suitable for all levels, including children. Just turn up and try it.
