FAMILY SPORTS DAY 2011
Mardyke Sports Ground GAA Pitch
Saturday 16th July
A few short summer showers couldn't wipe the smiles from the kids' faces! Spidermen with inflatable swords chasing painted lions, Harry Potter with wand in hand, butterflies and puppy dogs; the facepainters and baloon artist worked with the children to give their imaginations wings!
Every year the Office of Sport & Recreation and the Mardyke Arena host the event and we are very grateful for all of their support and help.
The SSSC wish to thank the Staff Athletics Club their assistance in running a fun set of races for the kids. Congratulations to all the medal winners!
