Retired Staff Information Session

3.00 pm in the Staff Common Room

With a view to a “Retired Staff Members Forum” (possible title) being established, we would like to invite retired staff of UCC to an information session to give an opportunity to consider the benefits of this proposed Forum.  This is being done in liaison with the UCC Staff Sports and Social Club with regard to progressing this initiative.

It is envisaged that this Forum will facilitate retired staff in continuing interaction with colleagues through the organisation of activities and events.  Examples include:  advocacy and information sessions; courses on topics such as IT, gardening, photography, local history, healthy living, etc; group activities such as music, cards, darts etc and monthly social meetings in the Staff Common Room.

Please let us know if you will be able to attend by email: (eofarrell@ucc.ie) and also use the same email/telephone contact if you are unable to attend this information session but would like to participate in the proposed Forum.
