William Thompson Lecture Series
The William Thompson Lecture Series is a series of public lectures to present the work done as part of teaching and research and as well to provide a framework for exchange across disciplines of social science and across national borders. This underlines the overall aim of the department of working in and for diversity.
For Social Workers interested in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) opportunities, participation in the William Thompson Lecture Series is an excellent way to keep up-to-date with new research, critical debates, and domestic and European policy initiatives. Further information on CPD and related provisions in the Health and Social Care Professionals Act 2005, can be found on the Irish Association of Social Workers
