Access ECDL Online Training

The ECDL online training is now available for free through your Blackboard account.

• Log in to portal@UCC
  • Username: Student Number
  • Password: Portal Password
• Click on the icon labelled Blackboard
• Re-enter your username and password if required
• Click on the courses tab in the left hand side of the screen
• In the search box type in ECDL
• Click Go

• Click on the arrow beside the course UCC-ECDL
• Click Enrol

• Click on the Blackboard tab to return to the blackboard landing page
• The course should now be listed in your account

Issues With Opening Modules

Once enrolled, if you experience issues with opening/running ECDL modules, it may be due to pop-up blockers, or needing plugins such as javascript, to be installed. Look for a yellow bar at the top of the screen which asks you to allow pop-ups, and follow on-screen instructions from there.

ECDL Exams

ECDL training is available free of charge, however there is a cost for sitting the ECDL exams.
