Having trouble logging on to Umail, Blackboard etc?

Some students may see a ‘Forbidden’ message when attempting to log onto Umail, Blackboard, Smartcard, and other services that use Edugate for authentication
The error mentions that “You don't have permission to access /idp/profile/SAML2/Redirect/SSO on this server.”, and is due to the server detecting an incompatible cookie.
We are investigating this issue, but a workaround in the meantime is to either open a new private browsing window, or else to clear all cookies from your browser.
