UCC Network Account

A personalised UCC Network Access Account is available to all registered students.  The Network Access Account is required for use with the following services:

• Logon to the Open Access computers
• Using your personal device on the Wireless Internet Service
• Releasing your print jobs at the Print Release Stations
• For use with Eduroam (available from October 2011)
• For use with Edugate (available from October 2011)

The Network Access Account consists of a Username (student number) and password, usually issued to you during registration but can also be provided at the Student IT Helpdesk in the Boole Basement on presentation of a valid student ID card. You must change it on first logon. Your Network Access account remains active as long as you are a registered student of the University.
