Department of Epidemiology and Public Health Newsletter

The UCC Department of Epidemiology & Public Health have an exciting quarterly newsletter. The work of the Department is focused on research and teaching addressing the causes and prevention of disease in the population, the promotion of health & wellbeing, and the optimal delivery of health services. The Department uses this newsletter to keep you in touch with news and developments from the Department, including research highlights and information on our teaching programme. The Department offers a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate courses from BSc to PhD level in Public Health, Occupational Health and Health Services Research and also has have an active research program. I hope you find something in EPINews that is of interest to you. EPINews is edited by Ms. Emily Kelleher, one of the Department's BSc Public Health graduates, now in her second year of the HRB funded SPHeRE (Structured Population and Health-Services Research Education) Programme.
