Sustainable Energy Systems for Industry

Dr D O’Sullivan leads this new SERG Thematic Area, where research is currently focussed on the development of an EI/IDA Energy for Industry competence Centre (I2E2).  Funding has been obtained for two post doctorate and one research assistant. The research will involve:

• Heating, ventilation & air conditioning (HVAC) efficiency improvements,
• Industry Energy demand real time modelling,
• Eco-energy Parks for sustainable energy supply for industry.
