UCC Research Support Services (RSS) is hosting a Workshop on writing competitive H2020 proposals
This event is focused on applicants applying to H2020 as part of a North/South Consortium but would be of interest to anyone applying to a H2020 call.
The session will be presented by Dr Conor O'Carroll (on behalf of InterTradeIreland) and will cover the following:
The H2020 Evaluation Process
Common errors made when writing a H2020 proposal regardless of the call (and how to avoid them)
How to strengthen a H2020 proposal across each of the 3 sections - Excellence, Implementation and Impact
InterTradeIreland's H2020 North South Competitive Partnerships Programme which assists North/South consortia re-applying to H2020

Dr O'Carroll has wide experience in this area having worked for the European Commission and led the Marie Sklodowska Curie National Contact Point Office. He has acted as Panel Chair, Rapporteur and Quality Controller and panel member on a range of Horizon 2020 programmes including Marie Skodowska Curie Actions, SC6 Earth Observation, Science with and for Society (SWAFS), Energy (Competitive Low Carbon Energy) 2017 and ERC.
