Physics Prize 08/09
The Physics Prize is an annual event held by the Physics Society in which students give a physics-related presentation which is then judged by a panal consisting of UCC physics lecturers.

This years winning talk was "The Standard Model... And Beyond" by Juan Carlos Algaba. Congratulations Juan!
The second place prize was given to David Tierney and his talk "This is the story of a very smart man"
The talks were, in order of apperence:
