Medical, nursing and health research student entries sought for Irish Healthcare Awards 2009

The Irish Medical Times is seeking entries for the ‘Student Project of the Year’ for the annual Irish Healthcare Awards. The prestigious awards will take place on 15th October in Dublin and the closing date for entries is 7th August 2009. The awards began in 2002 and have attracted increasing number of entries from individuals and groups all around the country.


Medical, nursing and research students that are currently studying or involved in research projects applicable to healthcare are invited to send an outline of their projects into the panel of judges. Interested parties can obtain an entry brochure at the contact details below.


The Irish Healthcare Awards recognise excellence and innovation in the fields of education, pharmaceutical innovation, healthcare collaboration and patient support and apply to anyone working in acute and primary care, public health, the private sector and IT.“The Awards aim to celebrate innovative excellence and achievement in the Irish health system and recognise projects that have made a positive contribution to the health sector,” said Mr. David, Kelly, Publisher, Irish Medical Times. “Last year we had a very high calibre of entries, with the Awards growing in stature and popularity since their inception.
