Positive Out-turn from Benchmarking review of 2008 Functional Area Annual Safety Reports and 3 year comparison

The independent benchmarking review completed during 2010 on the 2008 year FA annual safety reports and action plans, (as submitted on a year in arrears basis throughout 2009), showed a welcome 1% increase in overall average performance over the previous years results for all participating Functional Areas.
The average result of all contributing functional areas was 72.9%, 71.6% and 72.5% respectively for 2008, 2007 and 2006.
(Foot: when non participating functional areas are included the overall out-turn reduced to 64.3%, 67.9% and 68.5% respectively for the corresponding years.
