Mental Health Recovery Conference - 10th and 11th November 2010 - Programme and Registration Details
30 Sep 2010
Dear Students, Colleagues and Friends,
Following on from last year’s successful conference here in University College Cork, please find attached details of this year’s Mental Health Recovery Conference. With the permission and support of Dr. Áine Tubridy, partner of the late Dr. Michael Corry, who opened the conference last year, and who sadly died earlier this year, the conference is dedicated to the life and work of Dr. Michael Corry.
Keynote speakers and workshop presenters have been confirmed. The conference organisers, Lydia Sapouna and I would now like to invite people to register for the conference. One of the conference’s key aims this year is to establish an Irish forum/movement for critical voices in mental health. The afternoon of the second day has been set aside to establish such a forum through an open debate and discussion in the form of a plenary session.
We look forward to hearing from you. Please distribute the conference details attached as you see fit to your own respective networks. Any queries, please email either Lydia Sapouna on l.sapouna@ucc.ie or me on h.gijbels@ucc.ie.
Regards,
Harry and Lydia
Harry Gijbels, School of Nursing and Midwifery and Lydia Sapouna, School of Applied Social Studies, University College Cork.
