Biography
Sarah is the NPEC’s Health Promotion Officer. She graduated with a BA (Hons) in Sociology and Geography from UCC in 2004 and an MA in Sociology (Applied Social Research) from the University of Limerick in 2005. She was employed as a researcher in UCC and the National Suicide Research Foundation (NSRF) from 2005 until 2010. She subsequently joined the Department of Psychology at the University of Limerick, prior to her move to the NPEC in late 2011. Sarah has a particular interest in the patient perspective of health care, as well as in the development of effective health information systems to improve and promote better health intelligence.
