Biography

Mairead is the project manager for the EU-FP7 NEMO project in Cork. She completed a BSc (Biotechnology) in Dublin City University, majoring in marketing and genetics, before undertaking a Higher Diploma in computer science in 2001 from University College Cork. She took time off between studies to raise 3 children and work on the family farm. She was assistant manager on the BASELINE project before taking up her role in the NEMO study.
