The Department of Management and Marketing is part of the College of Business and Law, UCC, and is an anchor Department in the Executive MBA, the BComm and the BComm International. Our aim is to carve out a unique and authentic approach to business scholarship and teaching that positions us at the forefront of business education in Ireland today, which enables us to grow in our thinking and practice, and which leverages the unique skills of our staff to meet the current needs of business in Ireland. We are committed to providing a dynamic and supportive learning and research environment, which recognises the diverse backgrounds and interests of both students and staff. We seek to achieve a delicate balance between applied business skills and academic scholarship. Our aim is to achieve a blend of reflective, practical and analytical management and marketing skills for those involved in business. We pay particular attention to issues of entrepreneurship, globalisation, leadership and professional management development.
