Statute VIII.

Irish Universities Act, 1908

University College, Cork

We, the Governing Body of University College, Cork, under and by virtue of the powers in that behalf conferred on us by the said Act, Do by this present instrument under the Seal of University College, Cork, make the Statute contained in the Schedule hereof for the general government of the said College.

Given under the Common Seal of University College, Cork, this 10th day of January, One Thousand Nine Hundred and Seventeen.

Statute VIII.

Schedule

  1. Statutes I to VII. of University College, Cork, shall be read and construed with the additions, modifications, and amendments as hereunder set forth.
  2. Cap. XVI., Statute I., is hereby revoked as from the 30th September, 1916, so far as concerns the payment of £100 to the Professorship of Archaeology, and £50 to the Lectureship in Accounting.
  3. Cap. 1., Statute II., is hereby revoked as from the 30th September, 1916, so far as concerns the payment of £250 to the Professor of Mathematical Physics.
  4. The Stipend of the Professor of Archaelogy shall be £250 per annum as from 1st October, 1916.

    The Stipend of the Professor of Mathematical Physics shall be £350 per annum as from 1st October, 1916.

    The Stipend of the Lecturer in Accounting shall be £100 per annum as from 1st October, 1916.

  5. This Statute shall be construed with and as part of the said Statutes I. to VII. of University College, Cork, and may be cited as Statute VIII. of University College, Cork, or Stat, VIII., Univ., Coll., Cork.
  6. This Statute shall come into operation on the 11th day of January, One Thousand Nine Hundred and Seventeen.
