STATUTE IV.
Irish Universities Act, 1908
University College, Cork
We, The Governing Body of University College, Cork, under
and by virtue of the powers in that behalf conferred on us by
the said Act, Do by this present instrument under the Seal of
University College, Cork, make the Statute contained in the
Schedule hereof for the general government of the said College.
Given under the Common Seal of University
College Cork, this 2nd day of May, One Thousand Nine Hundred and Thirteen.

Statute IV.
SCHEDULE
- Section 2 of Chapter XIII. of Statute I. University College,
Cork, is hereby revoked, and in lieu thereof there is hereby
substituted the Section following :-
- There shall be the following Lectureships in the College :-
In History of Education, in Modern Irish, in Materia
Medica, in Mental Diseases, in Architecture, in Electrical
Technology, in Accounting, in Dental Surgery, in Dental
Mechanics, in Veterinary Hygiene.
PROVIDED that during the tenure of office of the present
Professor of Materia Medica, there shall be a Pro
fessorship of Materia Medica and the Professorship
of Therapeutics and the Lectureship in Materia Medics shall remain in abeyance. On the occurrence of the first vacancy in the Professorship of Materia Medica there shall be no longer a Professorship of Materia Medica, but there shall
be a Professorship of Therapeutics and a Lectureship in Materia Medica.
- This Statute shall be construed with and as part of the
said Statute I. of University College, Cork, and may be cited as
Statute IV. of University College, Cork, or Stat. IV, Univ. Coll.,
Cork.
- This Statute shall come into operation on the 3rd day of
May, One Thousand Nine Hundred and Thirteen.
Present when the Common Seal of University College, Cork,
was affixed.
