University College, Cork

We, the Governing Body of University College, Cork, under and by virtue of the powers in that behalf conferred on us by the said Act, Do by this present instrument under the Seal of University College, Cork, make the Statute contained in the Schedule hereof for the general government of the said College.

Given under the Common Seal of University College, Cork, this seventeenth day of December, 1996.

Statute 175

Schedule

Statutes 1 to 174 of University College, Cork shall be read and construed with the additions, modifications and amendments herinafter set forth.

CHAPTER I.
Professorship of Management Information Systems

1. There shall be established in the College, in the event of its institution by the National University of Ireland, a Professorship of Management Information Systems.
2. The said Professorship shall be in the Department of Accounting, Finance and Information Systems and shall be a full-time office within the meaning of the Statutes of the College and the University. The stipend of the said Professorship shall be the same as that provided in Statute 132, Chapter I., section 4 (a), as amended.
3. The duties of the Professor shall be to Lecture in Management Information Systems, under the general direction of the Head of the Department of Accounting, Finance and Information Systems, for all the degrees, diplomas and certificates of the University and for all diplomas and certificates of the College. The Professor shall also examine in Management Information Systems for the College and, if required by the Senate to do so, for the University.
4. The said Professorship shall be a pensionable office to which the provisions of Statute 79, as amended, and the Pension Scheme annexed thereto, as amended, shall apply.

CHAPTER II.

The Professorship hereby established shall, subject to the provisions contained in this Statute be tenable for the same term and upon the same conditions and the holder thereof shall be subject to the same duties and obligations as if the said Professorship had been included in Statutes 1 to 174 of University College, Cork.

CHAPTER III.

1. This Statute shall be construed with and as part of Statutes 1 to 174 of University College, Cork and may be cited as Statute 175 of University College, Cork or Stat. 175 of Univ. Coll. Cork.
2. This Statute shall come into operation on the Seventeenth of December, 1996.
