A consortium led by Dr John O’Donoghue and Dr Joe Gallagher, Co-Directors of the Health Information Systems Research Centre (HISRC), Business Information Systems, University College Cork (UCC) have secured €3.7 million in funding for health research from the European Union’s Seventh Framework Programme (FP7).

The Health Information Systems Research Centre (HISRC) was awarded funding under Prof. Louise Kenny and Prof. Geraldine Boylan's successful bid to SFI's Research Centres call for an Irish Centre for Fetal and Neonatal Translational Research (INFANT).
