Research in the Department
The Department of Hispanic Studies houses both the Irish Centre for Galician Studies and the Centre for Mexican Studies. These two centres provide cultural and social events, including poetry readings and musical events as well as academic conferences and symposia throughout the year.
The department offers a vibrant and engaging atmosphere for research candidates in a range of disciplines and hosts an annual research seminar series to provide a platform for the dissemination of current research by students and academics both internationally and from within the university.
