The Department of Food Business and Development offers a range of postgraduate courses, either taught or research based programmes that can lead to Postgraduate Diplomas, Masters and Doctoral Degrees.

The Department of Food Business and Development is a leader in research and teaching in all aspects of the food supply chain, from farm to consumer. The Department employs 15 full-time academic staff, 6 research staff, and 85 full-time postgraduate research students.
The Department staff conducts research in Food Economics; Food Management; Food Marketing; Co-operative Business and Rural Development. All aspects of the Food Chain, from farm to consumer, are researched, including food safety issues.
