Second Year Course
While the first year course provided a general basis for understanding the roots and foundations of modern European politics, societies, economies and international relations, the second year stresses the contemporary processes that have shaped European development through the latter half of the twentieth century.
Within the programme, students will take two core modules and will also be presented with a choice of optional courses to allow the students to focus more sharply on areas that may be of particular interest. In addition, students will be introduced to a variety of skills and techniques which aid in the analysis of their chosen areas of study.
