The University Language Centre at University College Cork (UCC) offers intensive courses and part-time courses in English Language Teaching and also has a English Language Summer School from June to August. English language courses are offered in English for general, academic, and professional purposes. To see our interactive brochure click here. Courses offered in preparation for the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) examination, or the Cambridge First Certificate (FCE), Advanced (CAE), or Proficiency (CPE) examinations. |

Students taking our 20-hour Intensive English classes are entitled to one free part-time course (4 hours per week). Highly qualified and experienced teaching staff who will help you to maximise your language learning potential. Excellent language laboratory where you can study independently. You can also arrange a language exchange with an Irish person. Course Time Table 16th April to 30th June 2012 (482kB) Part-time courses for term 2 January to March 2012 (2,350kB) CELTA Teacher Training courses. The next CELTA course begins on April 16th. Summer intensive courses begin the last week of June until the end of August. Autumn extensive CELTA course begins in September. Email for more information. ACELS Preparatory Certificate Courses for State Qualified Teachers (SQT Course) will be offered from 18th to 22nd June 2012.
