Full-Time Language Courses

The Language Centre UCC offers a number of full-time, intensive English language courses. These full-time courses run throughout the year. You can take classes for a minimum of 1 week, or come for as many weeks as you wish. Each week consists of 20 hours of classes. Full-time students can also take a two-hour part-time specialised course for free on Wednesday afternoons. We also offer courses, such as examination preparation (Cambridge and IELTS), Academic Writing, Focus on Fluency, which are usually on in the evenings. Full-time students also can use the Mardyke Arena Leisure Centre for free. New Courses English Language Bridging Course (duration 4 weeks, takes place after Summer School 2013), please click on the link for more information, Bridging Course Sept 2012 (16kB) Academic Year: Study and Work Programme This course entitles non-EU students to work legally on a part-time basis while taking classes and to work full-time during the holiday period. You can take full-time classes for 25 weeks and then a holiday period of 27 weeks. Each week consists of 20 hours of classes. Full-time students can also take a two-hour part-time specialised course for free on Thursday afternoons. We also offer courses, such as examination preparation (Cambridge and IELTS), Academic Writing, Focus on Fluency, which are usually on in the evenings.
