Environmental Photography Competition

The winners of the 2011 Environmental Sciences Association of Ireland (ESAI) Photography Competition were announced on January 31st. The first prize in the competition went to Mr. Gerry Sugrue, Co. Dublin for his photo captioned "Ducks marching through a luxury hotel into a summer's evening."

The winners of the 2011 Environmental Sciences Association of Ireland (ESAI) Photography Competition were announced on January 31st. The first prize in the competition went to Mr. Gerry Sugrue, Co. Dublin for his photo captioned "Ducks marching through a luxury hotel into a summer's evening."
The winner receives a €250 voucher sponsored by the Environmental Research Institute. The theme of this year's competition was "Nature in the Urban Jungle" and the photographs were judged on the combination of their subject, quality and titles by a professional photographer.
