Dr Paul Bolger (Manager of the Environmental Research Institute, UCC) was elected as the new Chair of the Environmental Sciences Association of Ireland (ESAI) at the recent Irish Environmental Researchers’ Colloquium in UCC.

Dr Paul Bolger (Manager of the Environmental Research Institute, UCC) was elected as the new Chair of the Environmental Sciences Association of Ireland (ESAI) at the recent Irish Environmental Researchers’ Colloquium in UCC.
The ESAI provides a forum for the exchange of specialist information and advice amongst environment researchers, policy makers, environmental management practitioners and other stakeholders, within Ireland and elsewhere. The ESAI organises the largest annual conference of environmental researchers in Ireland (ENVIRON) aimed at providing postgraduate and other researchers with an opportunity to learn about each other's work, and for postgraduates to present and publish papers. Dr Bolger replaces Dr Shirley Gallagher who had been ESAI Chairperson for the past four years.
