The Department of Epidemiology & Public Health is part of the Faculty of Medicine and Health at University College Cork. Our mission is to create, preserve and communicate knowledge on the causes and prevention of disease in the population, on the promotion of health, and on the optimal delivery of health services, and thereby contribute to the health and well-being of the people of Munster, Ireland and the world.
