Biography
I have published over 60 articles and chapters in books, the vast majority on medieval epigraphy. These include articles on inscriptions from Anglo-Saxon England, Ireland, Cornwall and Scotland. The three most recent articles appeared in 2006. I have also published three books:
1. Hand-list of Anglo-Saxon Non-runic Inscriptions (Cambridge, 1971)
2. Corpus of Early Christian Inscribed Stones of South-west Britain (Leicester, 1993)
3. (with Katherine Forsyth) Early Christian Inscriptions of Munster: A Corpus of the Inscribed Stones (Cork, 2001)
